Guide to Application, Quality, Maintenance and Energy & Cost Saving of Commercial Refrigerated Fresh-keeping Sample Cabinet
I. Application Scenarios
Canteens of schools and kindergartens
Canteens of enterprises, institutions and government agencies
Hotels, restaurants and central kitchens
Canteens of hospitals and nursing homes
Catering companies and group meal enterprises
Key Points for Compliance Use
Sample retention time: It is recommended to be no less than 48 hours (implemented in accordance with local market supervision requirements)
Sample retention temperature: The temperature of refrigerated sample cabinet should be stably maintained at 0~4℃
Sample retention weight: No less than 100g per serving to avoid affecting testing due to insufficient quantity
Containers: Use special covered sample boxes that are corrosion-resistant and easy to clean
Marking information: Each sample shall be marked with
Dish name
Sample retention time and date
Sampler/window
Placement method:
Place in layers to avoid extrusion
Separate raw and cooked food, meat and vegetarian food
Store sample food separately from other ingredients
II. Quality Points
1. Refrigeration and Temperature Performance
Reliable compressor brand with stable operation and low noise
The measured temperature can be stably maintained at 0~4℃ with small fluctuation
Equipped with temperature display function, preferably with high temperature alarm
The door and cabinet body are equipped with good insulation layer, which can quickly return to temperature after opening the door
2. Material and Workmanship
Liner material: 304 stainless steel is preferred for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning
Shell material: Spray-coated steel plate or stainless steel for rust and collision resistance
Door seal: Silicone material with good sealing performance and not easy to deform
Shelves: Stainless steel shelves with reasonable load-bearing capacity, easy to disassemble and clean
3. Safety and Compliance
With national mandatory 3C certification
Structural design avoids sharp corners and meets food safety and hygiene requirements
Equipped with door lock function to prevent unauthorized access by irrelevant personnel
4. User Experience
Simple operation with clear temperature setting
Clean and easy-to-wipe appearance, suitable for placing in prominent positions such as canteens and open kitchens
III. Daily Maintenance
1. Daily/Weekly Tasks
Check the temperature display every day to confirm it is within 0~4℃
Simply wipe the door seal and door handle every day to keep them clean
Thoroughly clean the shelves and liner once a week:
Wipe with warm water and neutral detergent after power off
Wipe clean with clear water and air dry naturally
Check if the door seal is fitted well and whether there is deformation or damage
2. Monthly Tasks
Clean the condenser (radiator):
Clean dust with a brush or vacuum cleaner after power off
Ensure good ventilation and avoid blocking with items
Check if the power cord and plug are intact and free from aging or damage
Check if the alarm function is normal
3. Semi-annual/Annual Tasks
Check if the compressor operates with abnormal noise or vibration
Ask professional personnel to inspect the refrigeration system and replenish refrigerant when necessary (repair in time if there is leakage)
Conduct a comprehensive deep cleaning including door seals, gaps and corners
IV. Energy & Cost Saving Guide
The sample cabinet is powered on all year round, so saving energy means saving money.
1. Reasonable Placement
Keep away from heat sources such as stoves, ovens and steamers
Place in a well-ventilated location, leaving heat dissipation space at the back and sides (generally ≥10cm)
Avoid direct sunlight
2. Standard Usage Habits
Minimize the frequency and time of opening the door, and take and place samples centrally
Cool hot samples to non-scalding temperature at room temperature before putting them in
Do not overfill to ensure air circulation, generally leave 1/3 of the space
Do not open the door for a long time for ventilation to avoid massive cold air loss
3. Scientific Temperature Setting
It is recommended to set the sample cabinet at 2~4℃, do not set it too low for "more insurance"
The lower the temperature, the higher the power consumption and the heavier the compressor load
Regularly check the actual temperature (test with an independent thermometer)
4. Good Maintenance Equals Cost Saving
Clean the condenser regularly, good heat dissipation can significantly save electricity
Keep the door seal well-sealed, air leakage will greatly increase power consumption
Repair problems such as poor door sealing, insufficient refrigeration and loud noise as soon as possible to avoid small problems turning into major faults
